Something Good
Gina Larner
Bio
Brighton-born Americana/pop-rock artist whose powerful vocals, sharp storytelling and distinctive edge have marked her as one of the UK’s most compelling rising performers.
Influenced by Debbie Harry, Kate Bush, Alanis Morissette and KT Tunstall, Gina blends attitude, honesty and nostalgia into “a marvellous celebratory sound mixing Country sounds with big bombastic almost revivalist meeting enthusiasm” (W21Music), high-energy, engaging shows with ‘zestful and effervescent performances’ (Country Lowdown) that feels both emotionally grounded and irresistibly melodic. Winner of the Boisdale Music Awards, Best Up and Coming Artist hosted by Jools Holland, her songs are driven by character, vulnerability and humour, creating an immediate sense of connection with audiences.
Gina’s debut album, Something Good, released in 2023, quickly gained attention across the UK scene and earned a nomination for BCMA Album of the Year and received support from BBC Radio 2 with Jeremy Vine, BBC London with Gaby Roslin, and multiple BBC regional stations. Along with her all female band, She performed two stages at C2C: Country to Country, The Long Road, Black Deer Festival, Cottingham Folk Festival, The Big Feastival, and the Main Stage at The British Country Music Festival. She also gained a residency at Taste of London with Jack Daniels. Alongside multiple headline UK tours, she has toured with Ward Thomas, James Blunt, and supported artists such as Simply Red, Jackson Dean, Ferris & Sylvester, The Shires, Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), KT Tunstall and Ella Henderson, gaining invaluable experience on diverse stages and earning new fans across genres.
What truly sets Gina apart is her live performance. Known for her natural charisma, warmth and sharp wit, (as well as her all female band) she moves effortlessly between intimate storytelling and full-throttle, high-energy moments. Reviewers have praised her “connection with her fans — an almost tangible bond that is key to her charm” (Country Lowdown), describing her as “phenomenal” (Overtone Magazine) and “a firebrand fusion of rock and pop” (The Bristol Gig Guide), making her an act NOT to miss in 2026.
“PHENOMENAL.”
